DesiTude’s Khadi Jeans are made of Khadi denim: hand-spun using a charkha and hand-woven on traditional wooden shuttle looms; each set of fabric is dyed manually. Being Khadi, the jeans breathe more and are lighter, therefore, more comfortable than regular jeans. The jeans are handcrafted – cut and sewn by experienced tailors. Design is maintained simple with two side and back pockets each, and one coin pocket. DesiTude logo sewn on the waistband at the back side is hand block printed on a Khadi denim patch, avoiding leather which harms the environment.
Minor variations in texture and colour of the jeans are not to be considered as defects. These are quintessential to Khadi as it is handmade. Colours also vary a bit from what you see in our website to what you see in real; this is partly because of the issues in colour reproduction and the screen resolution of electronic devices, and also because Khadi fabric is hand-dyed and is prone to minor changes in every lot. Wash inside out and line dry. Khadi lasts longer when hand washed, however, they do withstand machine wash in gentle/mild cycle. For customized orders, write to us over here.
